Little Trappers

Little Trappers was completed in January of 2018. Funding from Little Trappers came from the approval of a bond in 2016. Little Trappers is a state-of-the-art preschool facility with 6 certified teachers and 8 highly qualified content tutors. There are two sessions of 6 rounds each (6 morning sessions and 6 afternoon sessions). We are excited and proud to have such a beautiful building for our youngest students to start in.

Program Structure:

The Three-Year-Old Program focuses on increased independence, complex language use, and the acquisition of foundational pre-school concepts necessary for a successful transition to Pre-K and Kindergarten.


Operational Details:
● Hours of Operation: The program operates Monday through Friday, with 2 sessions (morning or afternoon) with the option of a full day.  Session hours: AM 8:00-11:00 PM 12:00-3:00

  • Location: Little Trappers Early Learning Center
  • Program Accessibility: Offered at a highly competitive and affordable rate, this essential service is proudly accessible to all families residing within the Weld Re-8 district boundaries as well as the broader Fort Lupton community.
    ● Meals: We provide nutritious and balanced meals, including a morning breakfast or afternoon lunch, all designed to meet the dietary needs of growing children.
    ● Closures: Families should always refer to the official Weld Re-8 district calendar for all scheduled closure dates, holidays, and in-service days.


Weld Re-8 School District's Three-Year-Old Program is committed to being a supportive partner to parents in nurturing happy, curious, and well-adjusted young learners ready for Pre-K.
